Dubai Ready Apartment Market Records Strong Growth
The latest figures indicate that completed residential properties remain highly attractive to buyers seeking immediate occupancy and rental income opportunities. During the first nine months of 2026, Dubai recorded 23,985 ready apartment transactions with a combined value of AED 40.6 billion ($11.06 billion).
The robust performance reflects sustained confidence in Dubai's property market, supported by population growth, strong economic activity, and continued demand from international investors looking for stable real estate assets in one of the world’s fastest-growing cities. While off-plan developments continue to dominate headlines, ready properties remain a key segment of the market due to their ability to generate immediate returns.
JVC Leads Dubai Apartment Sales Volumes
Among Dubai's residential districts, Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC) emerged as the top performer by transaction volume during the first nine months of 2026. The community recorded 3,062 ready apartment sales worth approximately AED 3 billion, making it one of the most active property hotspots in the emirate.Business Bay secured second place with 1,673 sales transactions valued at AED 3.2 billion, while Dubai Marina followed with 1,312 transactions worth approximately AED 3 billion. The Burj Khalifa Area ranked fourth by volume, recording 1,017 transactions, and Arjan completed the top five with 875 apartment sales.
Although the Burj Khalifa Area ranked lower in transaction numbers, it generated the highest sales value among the leading districts at approximately AED 3.6 billion, underlining the premium nature of properties in Downtown Dubai.
Together, JVC, Business Bay, Dubai Marina, Burj Khalifa Area and Arjan accounted for 7,939 ready apartment transactions, representing roughly one-third of all ready apartment sales recorded across Dubai during the first three quarters of 2026.
One-Bedroom Apartments Dominate Buyer Demand
One-bedroom apartments continued to be the most sought-after property type in Dubai's ready market. The segment recorded 10,245 transactions during the first nine months of 2026, accounting for 42.7% of all ready apartment sales. The popularity of one-bedroom units reflects strong demand from young professionals, first-time buyers, and investors seeking properties with attractive rental yields. Their relatively affordable entry price and broad tenant appeal continue to make them one of the most liquid property types in Dubai.
Two-bedroom apartments ranked second by transaction volume, recording 6,386 sales and representing 26.6% of total ready apartment transactions. Notably, this category generated the highest overall sales value at AED 14.8 billion. Studios accounted for 5,335 sales, while three-bedroom and four-bedroom units contributed a smaller share of overall transactions.
Luxury Segment Continues to Perform
Dubai's luxury apartment market also remained active throughout 2026. According to the data, 210 ready apartments were sold for more than AED 10 million each during the first nine months of the year. Palm Jumeirah led this segment with 58 transactions, while the most expensive ready apartment sale took place on Bluewaters Island for AED 90 million. The continued strength of the luxury market highlights Dubai's growing appeal to high-net-worth individuals and international buyers seeking premium waterfront and branded residences.
Outlook for Dubai's Ready Property Market
The latest market performance demonstrates that ready residential apartments remain a vital component of Dubai's real estate sector. Strong transaction growth, rising sales values and sustained demand across key communities suggest that completed homes continue to offer an attractive combination of capital preservation, rental income potential and occupancy certainty. With nearly 24,000 ready apartment transactions completed in the first nine months of 2026 and total sales value surpassing AED 40 billion, Dubai's secondary residential market remains one of the strongest-performing segments of the emirate's property landscape.
